It's been over 40 years since the event but Sirham Sirham, the man who shot Robert Kennedy and caused the Senators death is up for parole again. He was a young plus 20 when he committed the assassination and is now over 60. Sirham Sirham came to the US with his parents when he was 12 from Palestine to live. He is in protective custody in the Prison, eats in his cell, only contact with others like him, in protective custody, think Charles Manson, great company to have every day, and I am thinking so many here might know his name but are far removed from the emotional as some us might be, whether a supporter or not of the senator. Since it's been suggested that if released he would be sent back to Palestine and most likely be looked on and honored as a patriot by so many and even invited to live in great honor in some countries, thinking Iran in particular, some one to emulate and be a spark for similar martyr such actions by other youth. For that reason and more important , the killing of the Senator and what it might have meant to the future of the country, were we went, good, bad , indifferent, release from Prison, I sincerely hope not. -------------------------------------------- latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2011/03/rfk-assassin-sirhan-sirhan-seeks-freedom-today-at-parole-hearing.html----------------------------------------------------------

He's so institutionalized he would never survive upon being released.

I read where Sirhan Sirhan said he doesn't even remember shooting Robert Kennedy.

If he is released (which he won't be), he would be immediately deported since he does not have legal residency in the United States. He's basically an illegal immigrant being supported at taxpayers expense in the penal system...

He's so institutionalized he would never survive upon being released. Ok if so, we'll be the good guys, well protect him from that problem, lets keep him , say 20 more years, then... well we'll talk about it when it comes up.

IM(not so)HO, this is one of those situations in which there is a group of people directly involved who have the most information possible. We should trust them to make the best decision based on all factors.

I really stay away from these conspiracy scenarios, not because I believe they are just figments of..more because,,I don't know why. On this one, and Jack's , this man, geeze...what can I say..who knows but,,, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_S%C3%A1nchez_Morales

the most plausible " conspiracy" in this case. imho, was that he was shot by a security guard and it was covered up.
