Another month gone already. My total out of pocket spending on grocery for Feb was $55.50. I bought home $284 of products. Apart from a chicken deal of 0.29cents LB i did not put much extra in the freezer this month. We have a small one so i cannot load up on the deals like some of you can. We ate out a couple of times at least this month. I count that as fun money though. The TGIF snacks at Rite Aid made me an extra $10. On the actual packet it says save $5 on your next eat in trip. My work gave us a $50 gift card at Xmas. I cut 2 $5 coupons and made it a $60 gift card  We can eat out twice now for very little + tip. ;D This was a good month for me. How did you do? March is here and i hope to keep it under $100 again. |

it helped that Feb was a short month!
total merchandise value - $847.42
total OOP - $344.69, less $12.11 in RR profits = $332.58 for the month!

As of April 2013 Mortgage is paid in full :) NO debt of any kind.

That will be my goal for march also. DH, get ready for a lot of soup we have left over in the pantry. P&J sandwich when you get tired of that. Soup or sandwich dear, pick one.
OK, maybe some toast, nuts or yogart. Thats it! I am done cooking this month.
Wonder how well this will work?

I don't keep track.  I know that I did spend almost $60 on (15) packages of beef fillet at Safeway. It was on sale, marked 50% off of that, and I used a $2/1 coupon on each package. I do know that I earned over $160 in rebates at Rite Aid and got DS (2) bottles of Polo cologne at WAGs with RRs that I paid very little for.  |
