Buddy Friend At work we used to keep a list of the funny customer names we got. It was so long! Somehow along the way the full list was lost but there are a few I remember. Crystal Diamond and Gay Mann were two

A neighbor on the street that I grew up on named Hedda Fish. She would be about 80 if she is still alive. Fish was her married name and back then it was pretty rare for a woman to retain her maiden name. You gotta wonder how long she thought about getting married to that guy. One of the kids that grew up in this house is named Donald. One of my neighbors tried to convince him to take his wife's name. That way he could be Donald Duckworth.

I know a Thor and a James Bond. The rumor with James (he's actually the twin of a friend) is that they didn't know they were going to have twins so when the second boy popped out, they went for a good biblical name on the spot (already having a John) and ended up with James.

Just got a FB post from my flaky SIL (second wife of DH's brother)- their new great-grandson is named Phoequin. No, I DON'T know how to pronounce it! I should also add that my preppy nephew and his wife named their twins Hudson (boy) and Eveleigh (girl). I wonder if they are Joaquin Phoenix fans? If that's where it comes from, the only pronunciation I come up with is similar to "faux king" which is similar to a bad word Or "fee-keen".

Gay Mann? People must hate their kids. She took her husband's name when they married. I wouldn't have! Sent from my SPH-L710 using proboards

Two funny ones I remember:Dick Chambers and Jack Mekoff. They always make me smile.
We have lots of Dutch names around here and you always get some strange combinations. I worked with a guy named Keto, not sure where that name came from. We have boring names, although my two boys are named after tractors...
