Aw hell, I can't wander around quietly and bite people today? Well hell..... It's "What the hell?!"  Apparently we aren't the true slackers here. Whoever was given powers is laaaazzzz yyyyyy!  When one of us gets infected or has a gun all hell breaks loose! I guess we know our strengths. I thought it was 'What the E' I'm new at Slacking! first time since we started turning - I'm not infected!  |

For all of you who enjoyed the zombie game before but bemoaned the fact that the game ended too soon because it was so easy to die, there is a new beta version of the game for us to try. In this version, the dead can re-spawn, so the game should go on longer.
As it IS a beta version, we expect bugs. Please report any of them you find here, and they'll get passed on to the developer.
ABOUT THE GAME
For those who are new to the board, this is how it works. When a game starts, I assign several people to be zombies, a few others to be scientists, and still others to be soldiers. If you aren't one of those, you must wait until a zombie bites you before you can play.
ZOMBIES: Zombies bite others. Bites can:
* infect another (turn them into a zombie as well)
* kill the victim
* give the victim immunity
SCIENTISTS: Scientists can cure zombies. The "cure" action can:
* cure the zombie
* kill the zombie
SOLDIERS: Soldiers can shoot others (zombie or not). Shooting can:
* kill the victim
* infect the victim
ARE YOU DEAD? If so, someone can "re-spawn" you. This means you:
* could be cured
* could be zombiefied again
How often the actions listed above can be carried out varies. If we have a lot of zombies, I may change things to where they can infect fewer people, less often, while increasing how often and how many actions soldiers and scientists can take. It's never really the same game twice!

I think that deserves a -star-POTD  Are you sure that's not Archie who said that? Maybe he's wearing a disguise.
And right or wrong? you can't be bitten if you don't have the "bite" word at the bottom of you name info.
BG - you are correct - someone who is infected can only bit other posters during the one or two windows each hour when the "bite" word appears. You don't have to be logged in to be bitten. |

Thanks for posting the basics about the game ZaireinHD. I was looking for it. Now I understand more about what I can do, as a soldier and why. So far I've only killed people or missed. Haven't infected anyone. Heck, I've even killed some that weren't infected or anything. I just tried shooting someone to see what it did. Next thing you know, it said DEAD. Yikes! Is that what it's supposed to do? Can a soldier be bitten? |
