I think maybe it assigned zombie status to mostly peeps that aren't here much or don't play. So there is no one out there to nibble on us.
I assign people somewhat randomly. I say somewhat, because there are some who've told me they would like to be one thing or another, and I can do that. I just can't give immunity when i do so.
beyond that, it's pretty much a crap shoot of who i put where. since the zombies have been winning so quickly, i put a couple more soldiers and scientists this last game to try and keep it more even. apparently they were really effective.
i also notice that a lot of the dead are not respawning themselves.. or so it appears.

as far as do you have to opt out each time? I don't know. I opted out the last go round and then I was dead and had the option to rejuvenate. I didn't do that. Instead I opted out again. |

And Moon, when you restart the game, doesn't everyone turn alive again? Because I'm seeing some people that I shoot on Monday and Tuesday still dead. Hoops for sure.

Wisconsin Beth, i'm not sure. some had said that they had to opt out again, so in order for them to (hopefully) not have to do that, I didn't clear the data from the plugin like i normally do. so, that could be it.. or, it's possible that some soldier just shot them regardless. I can't tell, unfortunately.
if they're on a pc or the desktop (not mobile) version of a mobile browser, they should be able to respawn themselves if they want to.

Looks like you get a shot every 30 minutes, up to 2 shots. So if you wait an hour, you'll have 2 shots. At least that's how it seems to be working for me this week.
