Ok, someone explain to me how I go from Scientist to Infected? Just curious. I did cure a few folks this morning - not naming names since they have already been infected.  |

Yes, because the zombies always win.. i keep trying to get it to where the game lasts longer.

BTW any chance the guy that wrote this app also did one for Christmas?  Don't know if this answers your question but everytime I have been a scientist it didn't last too long - see prior posts. I didn't make scientist thru the day  |

Scientists and soldiers are still fair game for the zombies to bite. those positions don't come with immunity.. immunity is sort of random, i'm afraid.
and once you're dead, you won't see a respawn button for an hour.

Just a little observation of the previous couple of games. I never saw ANY soldiers or scientists. Maybe they were all peeps that didn't play or weren't here much. But I think that is why the zombies outnumber everyone so quickly.

Moon, can we confirm that the message after respawning is a canned, 1 size fits all respawns? I was immune, died (presumably after being bitten but not turning into a Zombie) and just respawned. the message was something about "I don't know how it happened but you're not a Zombie anymore" but I don't think I was a Zombie in this instance?
And is there a way to respawn as a soldier or scientist? I really want to be a soldier!

I didn't this round. but if you were a scientist soldier & went to bed early, then it's very possible that I got you around 3-4 am one night while sneaking around. |

Yes, it's canned. No way for the game to know what you were before you died. there's also no way to respawn as a soldier or scientist. you either come back as nothing, or as a zombie.
i will make note for the next game that you want to be a soldier though Oh oh oh oh! I wanna be a soldier w/ immunity! lol  Me too. I don't seem to have the intelligence to remain a scientist for very long. But I know how to tote a gun with the best of them  |

As a zombie, I'll go for the soldiers first, then the scientists. The Recent Posts listing is a great hunting ground. That way, you know you're getting the ones who play first.  |

They should write some protection for non-zombies, into the code.
For instance, if a zombie bites you (they could change that to attack, instead of bite) you would have 5 minutes to click a button to fight back. Sometimes you could win and not turn into a zombie and sometimes the zombie could get you anyway.
That would make the game last longer by giving the soldiers and scientists some protection and add some more interaction to the game.
