Some people really need a practical joke or some kind of revenge karma ( within the bounds of the law ) pulled on them just to balance out things. Sometimes, people just need to have a "fun" event happen to them. I haven't pulled too many practical jokes, but when I was in college, I loaned my notes to a guy who was a hustler for an all-nighter right before the test. It was a bitter winter on our vast college campus, and he promised me a ride home after our final test. ( I didn't have a car, and the campus buses were far and few inbetween ). He said he would wait for me if he finished the final before me. He gave me back my notes before class. I finished about 15 minutes after he did, and went outside of the classroom building, expecting to find him in the parking lot. NOPE ! He had taken off on me. I walked a bitter mile in the cutting wind and literally blinding snow, and swore revenge....RRRRR ! I knew that next quarter, he was taking the next class in the series along with me. I also figured that he would try the same stunt with me. I waited, studied, and took excellent notes. Sure enough, he called me the night before the exam, and asked if he could come and get my notes. I replied, " What, you want " Nazgul Girl ? " I'm her roommate. She's out pulling an all-nighter with her boyfriend. " He asked when I ( the roommate ) thought she would be back. I said, " I don't keep track of her hours ! and hung up. The next morning, I saw him in the exam hall, looking dazed and kind of upset. I sat far away from him, made sure he saw me reviewing my excellent notes in my nice notebook before the test, took the test, and walked out. He was still puzzling when I left. It was spring, and I caught a bus with no trouble. I still remember the look on his face.

Karma ....... it's wonderful
I've never had the courage for practical jokes. I'm the type that can't successfully pull one off.

One of my officers on the FD left 3 pairs of uniform pants in dispatch. He had been bragging about the deal a new seamstress had given him on alterations. He left on an extended call, I got safety pins and shorted/re-hemmed the left leg on one pair, right leg on another and left the third alone. He goes home, tries on the pants and two pairs are not right, he goes right to the seamstress complaining about the shoddy work. she shows him the safety pins. He is now profusely apologizing to the women and cursing me under his breath.
