RISHON LEZION Israel (Reuters) - Israeli police on Sunday blocked more than 200 far-right Israeli protesters from rushing guests at a wedding of a Jewish woman and Muslim man as they shouted "death to the Arabs" in a sign of tensions stoked by the Gaza war.
Protesters, many of them young men wearing black shirts, denounced Malka, who was born Jewish and converted to Islam before the wedding, as a "traitor against the Jewish state," and shouted epithets of hatred toward Arabs including "death to the Arabs." They sang a song that urges, "May your village burn down."
A few dozen left-wing Israelis held a counter-protest nearby holding flowers, balloons and a sign that read: "Love conquers all."
Lehava spokesman and former lawmaker Michael Ben-Ari denounced Jews intermarrying with non-Jews of any denomination as "worse than what Hitler did," alluding to the murder of 6 million Jews across Europe in World War Two.
A surprise wedding guest was Israel's health minister, Yael German, a centrist in Netanyahu's government. She told reporters as she headed inside that she saw the wedding

So Israel has their own version of the Westboro Baptist Church, as do many other countries of different fsiths.

So Israel has their own version of the Westboro Baptist Church, as do many other countries of different fsiths. Seems so Tenn...It was six ultra righters who murdered the Palastinian youth brutally..burned him alive supposedly as reported in different media reports..in retaliation of the murder of the three Israeli youths who were hitch hiking on the West Bank which seemed to start all these recent troubles...
In a way it reminds one of the start of the First WW...Assasination of a Prince and his Wife from Austria Hungary with the final total of over 70 million dead when the war was over..plus all the property damage...the fall of at least five royal houses..
Here the death of the three Israelis and the one Palastinian youth..all innocents and so far over 2000 dead and 5000 wounded and it is still not over plus property damage and destroyed in the billions...

This is why religion is bad for people.
Believers get all pissed off because two people love each other and want to make a family together.
ETA: (I won't even go into the argument that religions are all man-made anyway...)

This is why religion is bad for people. Believers get all pissed off because two people love each other and want to make a family together.
