Ombud, as stated in rule 6, I will check the historical price on Yahoo finance tomorrow. It is not uncommon for several different sites have different opens listed for a particular stock.

Those of you with more history investing than me, can you tell me if it is normal for the market to go up this early? I mean, isn't it in May and go away? Go away until when? I thought it was September / October. I'm wrong?

Nothing historically is abnormal regarding the market for it to rise in the July/August period. Be more cautious in the Sep/Oct period, although it may not tank, your "odds" are somewhat tilted to the bear side. The market these days is largely influenced by automatic large computer fast trading, so many of the old ways are now done and gone.
We are basically at the mercy of "automation" and who knows what "triggers" may set off a quick, short "panic sell off" at any point. "Main Streeters" just have to be very prudent and if one is a "trader" or "short-time holder", better be able to move FAST. Those in the market with a long term outlook will just go with the flow, and not fret over market swings, having eyes focused on the next 3-5 or more years, depending on one's longer term objectives.
At least, that's my two cent "observation" on the subject.

Hey, at least I am not following last's week's debacle that I committed. Celestial tea stays in the cupboard for the wife, and same for the table sea salt. But then, we still have two days to go....... Maybe we can short squeeze some of the shorts out today and get another 2 to 3% gain. Hope so.
And just so everyone does not think I was good on my pick this week, consider the fact I am thinking shorting my nemesis, Chipolte Mexican Grille. Up another $16 a share and at the $695 a share range. Insane!
