I'm not a morning eater at all. I always have a large glass of ice water first, either at home or when I get to work. I get up around 6:00 AM and am at the office between 6:45 - 7:00. (super short commute) Most mornings I have 2 cups of espresso (plain; nothing added) or 2 cups of hot green tea.
By 11:00 AM or so I can handle either fruit or a plain, raw vegetable like a hothouse cucumber or radishes or baby bell peppers. I don't have a sweet tooth and I prefer fruit in the AM but I'm trying to cut down on my sugar consumption. I don't eat sweets at all, but thanks (or no thanks!) to MyFitnessPal just because of the fruit I eat it has informed me that I still consume too much sugar.

I've had both the ALCAT and IgG tests for food intolerance, and both came up with sensitivities to dairy and eggs . Couple that with the fact that grains make me gain weight and I'm pretty SOL for a traditional breakfast. I usually stick to a powdered protein shake with fruit, soy yogurt with fruit, or fresh-squeezed vegetable juice (or a fruit and veggie combo).
I ENVY the people who can eat bacon, eggs and pancakes/cereal for breakfast

You have good stuff going along for the ride with the fruit sugar, so I'd stress less over it than I would too much sugar from having donuts for breakfast

Depends on the day and what we have. Sometimes it's a bowl of bran flakes or special k protein with skim milk.sometimes plain yogurt with cereal or yogurt with fruit (sometimes with dh's granola). Other days it's a whole grain waffle/toast. with peanut butter. Weekends I tend to go on long runs so I have gooey eggs on toast.

I have to mix it up weekly, if not every few days. This week is greek yogurt and fruit. Other go to breakfast items are hot oatmeal, or cold mixed with yogurt and fruit, cereal, bagels, and sourdough toast with fruit or cheese. Smoothies if I’m ambitious. Peanut butter and jelly or cheese and crackers if I’m slacking. Weekends I usually go right to lunch foods. If I’m ambitious its bacon or sausage, eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls.
