This is seriously easy - my niece posted this recipe on another site (I'll get even with her).
One suggestion I'd make for easier clean-up afterward, is to line the cast-iron skillet (bottom & sides) with parchment paper before baking so all that marshmallow gooey goodness doesn't get stuck to the skillet after baking:

Why mess up a skillet or turn on the stove? All you really need is a fondue fork and a burner set on low.
I'm not sure if school let out early or if mom didn't hear me come in. She got really bored alot when we were kids.
