Hey guys,
Newbie here just joined this morning and already im having a problem..I just started posting about 30 mins ago and made about 15 posts and my post count is not showing up..Its says posts o..Is anyone having this problem?Do you thinks its individual board problem or aproboards one?

That does seem very odd, because I can see your post history ok when I click your name. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help you troubleshoot.

If you post on the games board or the music board your post number don't go up. I believe that's it.

Any posts made on any of the Game threads aren't included in a member's post count. All of your posts were made on those threads except for the one post you made here on this thread - therefore your total post count is showing as "1".

Thanks shells Muffin dumper, You have posted in all "games" threads, which have been set to not increase your post count when you post to them. Old time regulars were worried that members that played a lot of the games would have such a large post count that it would literally shrink the penis size of non game playing members. Something had to be done. |

hey guys, thanx for the welcome..It does suck about the post count regarding the games and music forum cuz when i join abaord i join depending on how
interesting aboard is topic wise and for the games..I like playing the games..It is a bit strange i must say and this is the first board ive joined thats done this..

The only time I remember seeing post counts matter is when one member is mad at another member and accuses them of having no life because they post, on an average, 54 times per day; as opposed to the person who does have a life outside the board and only averages 22 posts per day. Of course, that requires that one figure out how many days a person has been a member, etc. Too much math for me. Basically, your post count is an indicator of whether or not you have a life outside the web. I, for one, do not. |
