In this day of sound bites and catchy spinny phrases one should actually read articles to see if they actually match the URL, just like misleading headlines.
I only looked at the Tyra Banks link which apparently is her coming up with some future trends in beauty. Looking at the URL without reading the actual content you get the impression she believes hour-glass figures will be a thing of the past because of global warming.
Not true! She actually believes that global warming will cause a reduction in food supply this only allowing the affluent to eat well. She links that belief with the false belief that eating well is the path to the hourglass figure. Not correct. Its more about body type than food eaten. I have a friend who eats much better than I do, but her body type is pretty far from the hourglass ideal. If you read that particular blurb, you realize she believes the hourglass figure will be the desireable body type only attained by the affluent when global warming restricts the food supply. She obviously hasn't read some of the books I have on body types let alone Sci-fi authors. Read her other predictions.

I'm o.k. with these two... "hourglass" shape is overrated... women are more than JUST their shape. and the other one... well... as long as it's of their own free will, I don't see the issue some people have with it.

Thanks for the humor, @xmascookie - you must have had a lot of free time on your hands searching out these links.
And Holy-Guacamole - what is the world coming to should a shortage of mashed avocados occur?

"make reptiles change their sex
rt.com/news/prime-time/climate-change-may-cause-reptile-to-change-sex/"
Not going to read this as temperature does affect reptile sex now. Just read a blurb from a leopard gecko breeder that the incubation temperature was chosen to hatch females. One breeder used to sell his breed of lizard in sets of 5 because that way whoever bought them would end up with 2 males and 3 females or 3 males and 2 females.

"Alligators breed in the spring. The female then builds a nest of mud and vegetation that is about three feet (1 meter) high and 6 feet (2 meters) in diameter. She lays 30 to 50 eggs and buries them in the rotting vegetation. The eggs are white, hard and slightly bigger than a large chicken egg. The nest provides heat -- it is like a big compost pile and heats up naturally because of the decomposing vegetation. The alligator eggs respond to the temperature. If the temperature is in the low 80s F, the hatchlings will be female. If the temperature is in the low 90s F, they are male. For temperatures in between, the resulting hatchlings are mixture of males and females." Alligator Breeding
I would imagine if it gets too hot, no eggs hatch. The survival of American alligators would include moving north of their current range for optimum breeding conditions. But then alligators are not that smart to figure out what they need to do to survive.

Actually lizards and reptiles do track temperature and light fairly well. They'd likely migrate north as if it were too hot for the eggs, it would likely be too hot for them.
But that's a guess. Some have a fairly narrow band of optimal temps and some have a much wider range. Could just change breeding time a bit.
