Finally- the NRA has its poster boy

This has it all- thugs attacking, a veteran with a carry permit fights back, hits his target, in Chicago after the new law- classic case of self-defense.

I expect this man will be on Hannity ASAP!  He really needs to make up for the Zimmerman fiasco. 

But I didn't see FOX covering this- ??  What gives?    I have a theory.........

Mighty interesting- nothing on Fox, nothing on the NRA news either.

You would think that since the NRA fought the law in Chicago to allow concealed carry, and now someone- a soldier no less- the 'good guy with a gun' stopped the 'bad guy with a gun with his legal carry weapon, and arguably saved lives, this would be front and center since it helps prove their position- yet we have crickets.  Blaze picked it up- so what are they waiting for I wonder....

Of course it is possible and it happens- which is why I support being able to conceal carry. Nothing I like more than some scumbag with a gun being taken out. I think any crime committed with a gun deserves a multiplier on the prison sentence. 

What I cannot understand is how this story just went by.  Have a small theory, but I want to wait and see what happens.

There are some reasons of course that are just media norms- no one got killed so not so interesting, no celebrities, etc.- but the NRA news feed should be all over it- last I recall they have a publication called armed citizen- or maybe a part of another publication I can't recall- but they always highlight whenever something like this happens.  Hell- even Chicago news ran with it amid the numerous killings and shootings over that weekend.  Seemed to me like a perfect pro-gun piece served up on a silver platter to shove in the face of the government there that had a problem with handgun ownership in general- which was bullshit to start with.  It was vindication.  I don't get it.
