Can anyone tell me a good source/brand of probiotics? I need to get some 'good bugs' in my intestinal tract because the radiation from last year killed everything, both good and bad.

I wish this question had been posted last week lol. My doctor told me to take some probiotics because I'm on antibiotics again for another nasty never ending sinus infection. I usually avoid this particular antibiotic because the last time I took it, it wasn't pretty. She didn't tell me what kind of probiotic to get, so I asked the pharmacist. Probiotics are expensive!

Last trip to Costco I bought some Culturelle probiotics and have been taking them all week. Hope these work like I want them to.
I still have to watch what I eat. Went to a buffet yesterday and had some shrimp. Not many but enough to bother me over night.
So far on my no-no list are cookies (all kinds-solid shortening), all sodas (carbonation), shrimp. I peal peaches, apples, plums, apricots. Otherwise I'm good to go as long as I don't overdo the amount. |
