Defeated the Miami Heat four games to one in the NBA Finals last night. Miami came out smoking, and buried San Antonio for 2/3rds of the first quarter. On a time out coach "Popp" told them not to worry, they had all night to get it done. It took them all of another quarter to get the job done. San Antonio set an modern day record (since shot clock in effect) NBA record for margin of victory during the series, crushing Miami by over 15 points a game.
The major difference in the two teams? Both teams have three super stars in their starting five. 1. The bench, San Antonio goes deep on the bench and it showed in the scoring. 2. Team chemistry. When San Antonio is on the floor with starting five, or subs, it shows what chemistry between players and teamwork can accomplish.
Good job San Antonio. Good job indeed!
