Hello ladies, Suzi, glad you are feeling better. Nicki don't worrk about them looking at you funny. You are the smart one, they are just jealous that they don't have the brains to do what you do. Remember many people hound because they want to and not have to. I found out Friday that I will have to have some outpatient "female" surgery. I will probably schedule it for the 1st few days of spring break (middle of March) and hopefully will be pretty good to go in a couple of days so that I can at least do somethings with kiddos. mommy2twoal, Hope you have a good surgery and recovery.

I have probably asked this before so please excuse my bad memory. The Stayfree stuff is bogo 50% off at RiteAid. I have a bogo free coupon. Can I use that AND a $1 off coupon too or can I only use the bogo free coupon for 2 packages? Does that question make sense? I always get so confused by these things! Thanks! oreo: You should be able to use both coupons, but what they take off for the B1G1F is pretty YMMV. Good luck!

At Ralphs/Kroger: Some kind of Daytona Deal: Buy 10 Hefty Storage Bags @ $1.59 each. $3.00 is automatically deducted for buying 10. The balance is $12.99 plus the tax. Minus the $1.00 off of any Hefty coupon (you need 10, found in the Superbowl coupon book from Vons/Safeway)), so minus $10.00. The balance is $2.99. Pay the $2.99 plus tax OOP. You will receive a catalina for $3.00 on your next order.
Rinse and repeat, only the OOP is cleared out with the $3.00 Catalina from the previous order. You can basically get 10 boxes of Hefty storage bags for FREE.

I can't remember who was talking about the pistachio coupons, but I just read that there are coupons for $1 off $5 produce at Safeway, and that they work on bottled juice in the produce section, and also on the pistachios. That would be nice to pair with the mfqs.

I did the Colgate deal + added super polygrip and a can of olives at WAG on Mon. Paid w/a $1 mfg qs on the colgate and $1 q on the polygrip and a $3 RR (not colgate) from Sun. Owed $1.21 OOP, paid w/gc. Got the colgate & polygrip RR so was a MM. However, the cashier left my receipt on the printer and started to ring up the next person. Reminded her of the MUST give receipt or customer is paid $5 and told her to send for her mgr. He was NOT a happy camper. This is the SAME cashier that blatantly LIED about not giving me a receipt a month or 3 ago. Thus I did NOT feel bad.
Dancin Check your Safeway’s written & posted pricing policies (at the customer service desk). Here at Dominicks (and Jewel) the first is FREE if an item scans incorrectly and they correct any additional. Example: if you buy 5 Ragu aand it scans wrong the first is free and they refund the overage + tax on 4.

I see in our K-mart ad that you have to have a $25 purchase of groceries & drugstore items to get the 5 double Q's. Is that the same for you. If so, is that $25 before or after Q's? TIA

TIA The $25 at Kmart has always been before Q's. So, if you have 5 $2 Q's that will double (you can only double 4 like Q's though) and then throw in something that you have one or two "freebie" Q's for, you can still get pretty close to 0 oop. Kmart doubles is not what it used to be though...I have a really hard time getting any good deals there with doubles anymore. It's not really worth my time. Remember, you can use as many Q's as you want, but the first 5 will double, so plan accordingly and hand over the 5 you want doubled first.

She and her husband have been married 8 years and this was their first child. I can't even imagine the pain she's in....physically and emotionally. OMG - I can't imagine. Prayers going up now.

I wouldn't say we need to hound, but it gives us extra money for things for our house, fun outings, good high-quality food, a high quality preschool education for DD, and bulking up our savings. So there's the peace of mind that when there is a minor catastrophe, we can take care of it instead of calling Mom and Dad for money. Best of luck with your surgery! You'll be back up in no time!

I did call and they said it was before Q's. My co-worker (unbeknownst to me is getting into couponing) which makes me happy that I can share my knowledge with her.

Hi. I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I never really posted on the Women in Red thread when it was over at the MSN boards. But in scrolling around here on these new boards, I saw this awesome coupon thread and want to join in the fun! I've been using coupons since I was a teenager, but it's only been in the last few months that I've ratcheted up my couponing from ordinary levels to extreme levels. It's so much fun and I just love to talk about it, so I'm ready to join in on the fun!

nickyleey - When you're happily retired later in life, and they're scrounging, they might then get a clue that your frugalness has paid off. It's always interesting how people will pretend to have more money than they actually do. I was at Rite Aid on Sunday (of course ) and was talking to 2 girls who work there. One is dressed to the nine's with beautiful makeup. The other is dressed plain. The girl who was dressed plain is always talking to me to find out about how she can get more coupons and find out about the deals. The other girl doesn't coupon at all and although she doesn't say it, I can tell she sort of looks down on it. Now, the irony is that they BOTH work at the same store so you know they have to be earning just about the same amount of money. Interesting...

Does anyone who subscribes to "All You" remember how long it took to get your first issue?
I ordered it on 1/19/11, and of course being the coupon addict that I am, I am dying to get my hands on my first issue! They say 4-10 weeks, but I'm just curious about other people's experience.

Do you know that you can purchase All You at Walmart? Look for it in the check out aisles, not in the magazine/book section of the store. Happy Hounding!

Thanks for the welcome! Where do I get a gmail account from? Google mail. Once you get signed up, Murpath will add you to the address list (if you want to be on it) and LBMoore sends the weekly list of coupons for the week. You just go through and put your name next to the ones you would like. You can also send coupons to others from the same "wishlist" Have you read Dancinmama's handbook? There is a link to it in the opening post of the thread. It may help you.
