Just went to WAGS at lunch. The RR for Day/Nyquil still isn't printing. Store had around 7-10 of the motrin pm but motrin ib wasn't tagged as being on sale. So got 2 of the PMs. Cashier woman had a hard time reading the $6/2 coupon & it wasn't scanning either. I had to point out to her that it was $6 off 2, not just $3. She thought the PMs were B1G1.

I'm so glad to read that I'm not the only one who does her drugstore shopping during her lunch hour! WAGs was all out of Motrin - they suck, I really wanted to use that RR towards diapers. RA #1 had no Stax left but she gave me 3 rainchecks (one for each flavor) and a limit of 5 each. She was so nice - I really like this RA. I got the Sambucol - wow the regular price is 12.99 - does this stuff actually work? No Bodi Heat at this store. RA#2 had 8 stax and no bodi heat - but this cashier is always in a mood. I swear she hates people, so I'm going to do that survey and I hope they ask about the cashier.
I wanted to get a raincheck for the bodi heat but how do I show them it gives $1 UP- I didn't see it in the ad or on the shelf.

CVS Alert:
check out your CVS and see if the oral B crossaction replacement heads are on clearance. My store had them for 2.49 and they also count towards the ECBs this week. My store was also down to one toothbrush so this is what I had to do:
1 Oral B battery powered brush- 6.00 1 2-pack replacement heads for crossaction brush- 2.49 used 1 3.00/1 oral b battery powered brush(2/27PG) used 5.00 ECB that is expiring this week
Pay: .49(before tax) and got back 6.00 ECB
If you have ECBs to use up this week and your store is out of the brushes, maybe check and see if they at least have the replacement heads. If you get 2, that will be a small money maker of 1.02. HTH

CVS Transaction #3 DH's card: 2 Crest toothpastes $3.29 each 1 Revitalens $5.99 1 PF eye makeup $10.99 TMF 1 LA Times $1.50
Minus: $4.00 off of $20.00 - 2 (1.00 off ) coupons for the Crests -$3.00 for the PF makeup -$10.00 EB -$5.00 EB -99 cents EB
5 items
subtotal: 7 cents 9.75% CA TAX: 2.05 Total: $2.12 cleared out with a CVS GC Received: 1 $5.99(Revitalens) EB, 1 $6.58 EB (Crest), and 1 $7.00 EB (PF makeup). I also would have been able to turn in the makeup for a TMF, but I have already done so. If you have not, you can also get a rebate check for $10.99.
In this case, the EB's submitted were LESS than the new EB's received. Plus, to "sweeten" the deal, the Try Me Free PF makeup is another $10.99 to consider. This is the idea, especially if you can use the items.

Suzi - you should've bought the Nature Made at RA. There are 5/1 Qs (COQ10) exp today & they are BOGOF too. Its part of the Heart Healthy UP, so you could buy 6, pay $5.97 OOP and get $10 UP. Constanz - no limits at my store. I just bought 12 at one store & got all the UPs. I'm pleasantly surprised to find stock at my stores. My shelf clearer is either sick, on vacation or doesn't know the UPs are still printing for the snacks. I got a total of 33 over the past 2 days. Re Motrin: If you can't find these at WAGS, hold onto your $6/2 Qs. RA will have it on sale next week or the week after for $3, get $2 UP. So it will still be a $2 MM. Re Oral B at CVS: I bought 2 t/brushes & used both the BOGOF (exp today) and $3 Q. This made it a $3 MM for me.

I have probably asked this before so please excuse my bad memory. The Stayfree stuff is bogo 50% off at RiteAid. I have a bogo free coupon. Can I use that AND a $1 off coupon too or can I only use the bogo free coupon for 2 packages? Does that question make sense? I always get so confused by these things!
Thanks!

Thanks Savinla - I probably didn't get it. I think I looked before. I'm stopping at WAGS tonight for the Vicks. Hope the RR prints. I'll let you know.

I thought the Vicks & Gillette deals were over as of 2/26? Could that be why they are not printing? Or are you talking about another Vicks deal?

on Wild for Wags, she has a picture of how the Vicks deal is supposed to go through March 26th. So I'm hoping that I'll get reimbursed somehow for the two $10 RRs that I didn't get. I'll copy / email that picture if I have to!

Hi All, I've been off for a bit, trying to plan a wedding. Everything in my HCOL area is so expensive!!! We're hoping for early fall and I don't have a venue or a caterer or an officiant yet. DF does not seem to be interested in helping with this part so I put him on music and invitations, which he likes, but I don't think he's done anything yet. So stressful. Suzi, I'm not sure what happened to you but I hope you're feeling better soon! I have three more Ranchers Reserve coupons left that expire today so I'll be hitting Vons/Safeway one last time today. I'm quite relieved that it's over because the harrassment that I got over using those coupons was terrible. They gave me every excuse in the book why I couldn't use them but then ended up taking them every time. I just read that there's a new book out. I don't know if I'd have time to use any great coupons! Since SoCal RA sales start Friday, I was able to buy the Lays and Combos snacks to finish out the rest of my Winter Rewards and the the $20 Up Reward by the deadline. Woo hoo! I'll try to drop in now and then. Maybe once I have my venue I can relax and shop again.

Pubbler, I would love to do that, but I have to ask DH if I can go to RA. I hope so, because that is a great deal, especially for the UPs that I have that expire 3/5. Thank you!

Suzi, I'm not sure what happened to you but I hope you're feeling better soon! Thank you, Free Salsa. I had a hysterectomy at the City of Hope. I have been home for about 8 days, and DH took away and hid my keys to the car, LOL. I have to rely on the goodness of friends and family to get me places, and I can only stay for about 1/2 hour at this point.
Today my sister took me to WAGS to refresh some RR's that had a 3/3 date on them.

Stopped at WAGS on the way home as stated above. There was no RR sign above the Vicks like before. The sale must be over. How can we know if it was supposed to last until 3/26. That seemed like a long time to run that special. If someone has the answer, please let us know. I know Frugalsuz has it on her blog. I then checked the clearance shelves and they had men's socks (thin ones) for .25 each so I thought I would buy some for charity. So, I thought, might as well buy the toothpaste for $3 and get the $3 and then use the $3 to pay for the socks I was going to buy to donate anyway. Figured I got the toothpaste free!!! Well, I bought 8 papers this week because of the Vicks coupon that I thought would yield a mm but I'm guessing that gig is over. If you know of any other good deals to use the P&G Q's for, please let me know. Have you noticed the BOGOs are for two different items, i.e. buy the BW and get the deodorant free??? I think they are catching on to us, don't you?? BTW Suz = Have a speedy recovery so you can get your keys back!!! You know hubby is only looking after your best interests

freesalsa- when I got married, my family catered the first one and the ladies of the American Legion did the second-DGF was a member. I lucked out on pastors because of DGPs and I had actively sung in church. Some places now have all inclusive halls but I don't know the price point on these places. HTH

PRAYER REQUEST: I just found out that a former co-worker had a car accident and is in surgery do to brain swelling. To make matters worse, she was about 30 pregnant and lost the baby. She and her husband have been married 8 years and this was their first child. I can't even imagine the pain she's in....physically and emotionally.

Today my hubby and I hit Safeway to try to use up the last of our expiring $2 beef coupons. Hubby got in the self check with two beautiful New York steaks that were marked 50% off. Attendant had to help with the 50% off sticker, and then he took the two $2 coupons. He handed one back, saying it wouldn't take them both, and before we could protest, out popped $1.65 cash! So they paid us to take home the two steaks. It was a good way to end that fabulous run of beef coupons!

Hello ladies,
Suzi, glad you are feeling better.
Nicki don't worrk about them looking at you funny. You are the smart one, they are just jealous that they don't have the brains to do what you do. Remember many people hound because they want to and not have to.
I found out Friday that I will have to have some outpatient "female" surgery. I will probably schedule it for the 1st few days of spring break (middle of March) and hopefully will be pretty good to go in a couple of days so that I can at least do somethings with kiddos.

Hi all, I'm glad I looked on iheartwags this morning to find out about the lack of Vicks RR printing. Completely frustrated me, especially b/c I had already printed out my 5/25 coupon for registering my email. Of course they only give you 6 days to use it once it prints out, so I came up with a different scenario AND having to do this after I read the fine print of having to use it towards $25 AFTER all coupons. 2 Zyrtec @ 9.99 4 Finish powerball @ 2.49 w/in-store coupon 2 Motrin PM @ 3 1 Aquafor lip @ 4.99 - (2) $4/1 Zyrtec (1/9 SS..I didn't realize until I was checking out that these are for the 24 ct, but it rang through on 12 ct no problem, there are also some stickies on packages) - (4) .75/1 finish (1/23 SS, exp 2/28) - (1) $6/2 Motrin - $1/1 IP Aquafor -$5/$25 for email registration OOP w/tax $20.63 Get $5 RRfor Zyrtec, $4 for Aquafor, $3 for Motrin Then I just spent it on some other things I needed 2 Arm & Hammer detergents, $2.99 w/in store 1 Finish powerball, $2.49 w/in store 2 Ultra Tuff trash bags, $2.99 w/instore -$1/2 Arm & Hammer - .75/1 Finish powerball - 12 RR (wasn't paying attention to the need of fillers, so I spent $.65 cents on some altoid minis, which now I think may be a mistake? I had 5 items and a total of 2 mfc coupons and 3 RR, but it still beeped coupons exceeded...) OOP w/tax $2.43 mandyms: Sometimes coupons that are x/2 attach to two items at Wags. You can get around that by giving the RRs first. When you only have one item left, then use the x/2 coupon and it will go through fine. The downside to that is that you have to calculate the sale price carefully, but if you do, it will eliminate the need for an extra filler.

I went to RA today to use up all my Ups that I had that expire on 3/5. Bought 2 Woolite (used 3$ MQ), 2 A&H Detergent (used 1.25 IPQ), 1 Tide(used 1$ MQ), 1 Aveeno shampoo (used 1.5 MQ), 2 SF (Used BOGOQ). I lost 18 Ups in total, but I still have almost 50$ in Ups and I don't have to buy detergent until the next year with my stockpile and today's trip.
