This made me laugh! But be careful going by NNP's saying that. She just may bring someone out, to empty her freezer! 😉🤣

The Sticky Sweethearts should give Taylor Swift a run for her money this summer for favorite song.

But did have to trudge thru shag carpet! 🤣 I didn't have to trudge through shag carpet until I was married the first time, in our first house. Then we had multi colored striped (fall colors) shag carpet in our living room. And we got our first console TV too. No more smacking the tv, for a better picture! Were Curtis Mathis TVs a big deal in the 70s, where you lived?

"...And after a long time the boy came back again. "I am sorry, Boy," said the tree, "but I have nothing left to give you- My apples are gone." "My teeth are too weak for apples," said the boy. "My branches are gone," said the tree."You cannot swing on them." "I am too old to swing on branches," said the boy. "My trunk is gone," said the tree. "You cannot climb." "I am too tired to climb," said the boy. "I am sorry," sighed the tree. "I wish that I could give you something... but I have nothing left. I am an old stump. I am sorry..." "I don't need very much now," said the boy, "just a quiet pleace to sit and rest. I am very tired." "Well," said the tree, straightening herself up as much as she could, "Well, an old stump is a good for sitting and resting. Come, Boy, sit down. Sit down and rest." And the boy did. And the tree was happy." Shel Silverstein - The Giving Tree, 1964.

If you have the time, watch the Hot Bench abbreviated episodes (parts One and Two) which was televised this past Thursday below the meme. The plaintiff's excuses for crashing the defendent's trailer home are rediculous. The meme reminds me of that episode.

My grandparents lived in a double wide travel trailer during their last years, so they could live in Yuma, Arizona for 6 months out of the year. Then they came back, to live near family, the other 6 months. My grandma had BAD arthritis. Utah winters were hard on her. I can't imagine someone thinking it was okay to hook it up and move it, to another location. (He said, I could use it.) That's ridiculous!

I can't imagine someone thinking it was okay to hook it up and move it, to another location. (He said, I could use it.) That's ridiculous! The woman had found a new place to live. Her belongings were in the trailer. She thought it would be easier for her to pull the trailer to her new place, unload her stuff into her new home, and then drive/pull back to its original spot. Like an idiot, she never asked the defendent if she could pull the trailer to her new place. She kept on saying she was doing him a favor by moving out. Ergo, he is responsible for the damage. So she ended up suing the defendent for damages to her belongings in the now damaged trailer. The judges could not believe she had the gall to ask for damages as she was the one who moved the trailer without permission and caused the damamge. Had the woman asked permission from the defendent to hook the trailer up to her vehicle and drive away with it, the defendent would have told her the hitch was broken. The woman kept on stating 'but...but...but... The judges had enough of her nonsense.

I couldn't believe she thought that was going to work in her favor. Or that moving the whole damn trailer was a better option. I also couldn't believe she thought he should file an insurance claim, for both of them. "Win-win." Like I/judges said, ridiculous. But you're right... Our house, in the middle of the street! LOL

My dislike of pines comes from riding out a Cat 4 hurricane and listening to pines snapping! We had 35 pine trees down. Fortunately none hit house. After that never built house on lot that had pines. Also learned to leave town when a Cat 2 or more taking aim at us! Mini vacations.
