You can add jma23 to that list. I was registered for the draft but the Vietnam war ended just months before my age group lottery was to be drawn. With that detail in mind, it lets me know that there can be all kinds of reasons for for not serving. Vietnam war, ugh. The extra death that comes with the nonsense of limited warfare.

just my two cents

the military is not for everyone

some cannot cope with the rigidity

but that doesnt mean you cant serve your country in other ways

some volunteer in local communities

some become fire, police, emts

some take meals to the elderly, or run childcare centers

the key to me, and the way i was raised, is that "somehow" you contribute

for some, it is just writing a check.....and for the programs receiving the funds i know they appreciate it

if you arent doing any of those things, ask yourself why

No, I don't want war. I would have to say that just about everyone on that list doesn't want war either. The on air personna projected in their programs is seldom who they really are. They're just filling a want from the viewing and listening public and making a good buck while doing it.
