I have today off from work! Yeah me! But, it's cold and rainy so I can't do yard stuff. But, I can catch up on some personal stuff on-line.
I never realized how much 'help' I get from my cat... he's stood in front of the monitor, rubbed up against my head, sat down between my arms and keyboard, flopped on the keyboard and now has finally sprawled out for tummy rubs in his traditional spot between the keyboard and the monitor. at some point he'll scooch himself into a position where his tail lays across my hands/keyboard and may take a nap since he's supine and comfy. ::sigh:: it looks like my other cat is joining the fun, she's making figure 8's around my ankles and will probably flop on my foot at some point.
This is normal "at home computer use" for me - I guess I don't notice it as much in the evenings (too tired).
Apparently I can't use the computer without 'help' from the cats.
So, who else needs 'help' to surf the net and who's 'helping' you?

Whenever I go to this site at home, my daughter wants to look at the avatars and ask questions about every person.

I have to admit, I think we have some of the most interesting and eclectic avatars that I've seen. From the limited number of old fashion chat boards that I frequent

Gwen likes to try to help me type. She also likes to comment on people's avatars anytime I'm on the boards.

Our cats just love computer time! They will try their hardest to get on your lap. I have cute pictures of Henry as a kitten standing on hubs' lap and the laptop.

I am sure you tell her we are all good fine upstanding citizens who give out perfect advice, never get panties in a wad or piss and moan non-stop

Maybe I'll start a pick my avatar thread on WIR. They can pick the avatar that I'll use for that day or whatever.

my dog always wants in my lap when I'm sitting at the desk in the office. He will try and lick my hands while I type or shove his head under my hands.

My dog has chewed threw two computer power cords (not while in use). I guess she doesn't like us using the laptop beyond the power capability. She also chewed through our printer power cord. Plus a few other things. He just turned 1 and we are hoing she is beyond her destructo phase.

Here is Henry back when we got him in 2011. He loved computer time, hubs did not love it.

Oh, I have "help" all right, just look at my avatar. In fact, I don't know how I would do it without her

My mom's cat would help her whenever she was emailing me. My mom couldn't figure out how the cat knew it was me because my mom emailed other people, too, but I was always the recipient of an email with nksDclihbrqefilhaebrli, in the middle of it from the cat helping.

Previous ferrets I've owned, were LOTS of "help"! My current one, not so much. That's a good thing! I like hearing the stories about people's pets, and seeing the pictures.

DH was just attempting, unsuccessfully, to play a game on his iPod without "help". Our cat will climb in your lap an put himself between you and whatever device is in your hand. DD3 just got home from college last night (she is technically the cat's owner), but the cat insisted on DH's lap over hers. Well, what did you expect, hon? DD3 didn't have a device in her hand, and you did. Oh, and the irony of this is that DH is so NOT a cat person.

Lucy cat also loves to surf the internet.
Any cat I have had since I have had a computer did. I had two cats that used to fight because both of them couldn't get on top of a CRT monitor. The fat one would lose and take over my lap. I think he actually won.
