How about we take it all the way up to the prostate?  why not? so, how would this debate unfold if the proposal were to regulate the health of the prostate? if men were being told what drugs they could take, etc- to ensure that health? if the prostate was given rights as a "living thing"? a bit different, i would presume. Not exactly a valid comparison... because the Prostate will never be a separate living entity with it's own rights. On the other hand, if science were to create a way for men to carry babies... then you might have a point about it... but I'd be just as in favor of punishments for men that carried fetuses to term and used drugs... so your point kind of fails, in my opinion anyway. |
