I had pulled up May 27th buys I made over the last 50+ years: now a coffee Can Portfolio of dividend paying Blue chips. Of the 20 Stocks I dreamed about owning with no cost; thirteen sales were wrong in the long term. Selling off most of pharmaceutical was seven time. I keep holdings only house money in all nine : AKA CAT9. Well 35% correct was about 500% total cost. I did well with overpriced Life insurance firms but better with the degrees selling bought me: BSPharm and MBA.
The topic is more about doing and action. Buying when everyone else is selling: providing liquid asset to the stock market has worked well in defense. BONDS ALSO WORK HERE WITH THE EXPERT50/50 SYSTEM OF REBALANCING BNUT 100% STOCK WOULD HAVE PRODUCED GREATER RETURNS WITH A LARGER STANDARD DEVEATION OVER 50 YEARS.
Just as thought, Bi

You might be right bi. I pulled out a few weeks ago, bought back in on the start of the upswing. When the dust settled, I didn't get much of a benefit. I'm sticking with the dividend payers....
