WE talked about getting a harness for Cabe. I couldn't pull the trigger on it. I guess DH couldn't either because he didn't buy one.

Lmao, I went yard saling over the weekend and pushed DS (5yrs old) all around town Usually he walks or rides in the wagon but the stroller is just easier sometimes.

Yeah, this will probably be the last day of posting here for me since I invited disaster with my judgment this morning.
DH and I were reading the news and one of the headlines was about people killed in the flooding of the latest storm. I made the offhand, snarky comment that most of the time people die in flooding during these storms, it's not the storm but their own dumb decisions like driving into the flooded wash.
As soon as those horrible words left my mouth I realized I'm bound to die in a flood when the storm gets here tomorrow. HaHa, I wanted to like your post, but was afraid that might be like wishing bad luck on you. Stay Dry. Lena, is it a full audit or are they just asking for info on a certain thing? Did you have your return prepared by a CPA? DH is self employed. I have an accounting degree and prepare our return with Turbo Tax. I have been through audits for work, and don't want to go it alone if we are audited, therefore I always buy Turbo Tax's "Audit Defense" policy.

Bookkeeper and WI Beth,
I didn't use a leash, but once when I was shopping I "lost" DS. He was 4 or 5. He is 20 now and admits he was hiding in the center of a clothing rack and laughing at me frantically looking for him.
If people want to put a leash on their kids I have no problem with it.
I do however go nuts when I see big kids like 6-10 standing or riding in carts climbing in and out and or 5-8 year olds laying on the bottom of carts. The employees in the stores never say a peep and the parents apparently never watch TV, or read a newspaper or a parenting book or magazine to know how dangerous it is.

Bean, you've obviously seen us at Target and Woodman's. I've had Cabe take off on me already. We were at the Zoo and he was WAY in front of me and Keira (he was beyond the Woodland food court place and we were around the Aquarium building. Fortunately, the Zoo wasn't crowded that day and I could see him. Keira and I were scurrying to catch up with him when he stopped, looked around and started to panic because he couldn't find me. He's been better ever since. Still not good but better. He doesn't want to listen though. So if he was on a harness, I suspect we'd be doing more of a tug of war thing.

bean29 - not, it's not a full audit. I do our taxes, I actually have degree in accounting too, so I am a little bit familiar with it, although my background is mostly corporate finance and corporate tax. I know why we are being audited and the reason pisses me off more than the audit itself. But nothing I can do. It's just making me not like MA even more
