Absolutely appalling that the local law enforcement won't do anything about it.

We had a woman in Germantown move/squat into a vacant, bank forclosed, $3.1 million 'home' and claim it was hers because she was a member of the Moorish National Movement and did not have to follow the laws of Tennessee and the United States. She even placed chains and locks around the driveway gates so the police could not evict her under court order.
She finally was busted and arrested with all sorts of charges filed against her.

One of my sisters' next door neighbor has been squatting in her house for over a year. She told sis she hasn't made a mortgage payment in over 2 years and she was given notice that she was evicted and was to be out of the house by last July.
Neighbor said she's not leaving until someone comes to kick her out. CRAZY!!!

Someone stole a soldier's house? How dumb can they be? I mean, a soldier is trained to shoot...

I have a situation close to this but with a relative. A lawyer has it so I won't elaborate.

i wouldn't get too concerned. the powerless generally lose in these situations. move along here. nothing to see. This does not give the powerful the right to tread on the less powerful and take. There is an added layer of responsibility there to do the right thing.
