I received my ham today from UPS. It was in dry ice, does it need to go in the fridge to thaw or the freezer to take out tomorrow or saturday to thaw?
How long does it take to defrost, and are they already cooked and just need to go into the oven to heat up?
I think I ordered the one that feeds 8-12 people, the smallest one and it states it is a 6lb half ham.

So is it good Rae, sounds like you think it is yummy, DD boyfriend was pretty excited about it too so it probably is very yummy. I can't recall if I have ever had one, if I have it probably wasn't shouted from the roof top that it was a honey baked ham ... I am must say for 65 bucks it better be freaking delish.

Do not heat it up unless you like dry ham. It is fully cooked.

They suggest serving at room temperature. It's ok- but I prefer mine warm. We heat ours up for about 20 minutes in a low heat oven. Just to warm a little. Don't cook it.

Hams are fully cooked when you buy them (it's cured meat - often smoked).
You can warm them in the oven, but to keep it moist, you have to score the fat (if any), add a glaze of some kind (like a brown-sugar/pineapple juice mixture, and add pineapple rings for added moisture/flavor.
The easiest way to do a ham that's been delivered since it's already ready-to-eat as is, is to slice it up and warm the meat in the microwave on a low setting, covered with plastic wrap to retain the moisture so it doesn't dry out or turn to leather.

The HoneyBaked Ham and Turkey Breast are fully cooked and ready to enjoy. For the very best flavor, take the Ham or Turkey Breast out of the refrigerator and allow it to stand at room temperature a half-hour before serving. Refrigerate unused portions immediately.
Heating may cause the Ham or Turkey Breast to dry out and lose flavor.

Wouldn't adding all that stuff defeat the purpose of getting the Honey Baked? From what I understand, their flavorings are what makes it so good. They're too rich for my blood, but I would follow the website's instructions if it were me. Now if I were cooking some other ham I would follow @sroo4 's suggestions because it sounds DELICIOUS!

I am in the warm ham camp. I typically line a pan in foil, make a paste of brown sugar, dark molasses, and either apple cider if I can get decent stuff or a little bit of pineapple juice. Tent up the foil put it in a low 250ish oven, leave covered and sealed for a little while. Then take out and serve. and all this is already done for the Honey Baked Ham - that's what you paid for.

I like the HoneyBaked Ham at room temp, because I want the glaze to still be crunchy. If you warm it much it will get soft and runny.

Don't heat it up!! And I'd go ahead and put it in the fridge to start the defrost. Never gotten one frozen before, but we usually get it a day or two before we're eating it and put it in the fridge so having it in your fridge won't hurt it. Plus, it would suck to go eat it and it still be frozen! The first time we eat it, we follow the 1/2 hour at room temp before serving. But after that it's usually only single servings (snack, sandwich, etc) so it's eaten straight from the fridge. And I just remembered I have a serving or two still in my freezer. That's going to be eaten this weekend now!
