Yes A+++  , it could get cheaper but a little high beta stock might start to work.  Time to lighten the bondsMy bond holding are up almost 9% year to date. Selling to the new cloud in T-Bonds could be timely  Call it the clouds of Putin's WAR. I am looking at increasing my "C" holding: Target 58.55 ,beta of 2.27, PEG 1.07 & 2014 est. as high as 5.80.

Funny you say that, DDD has actually come on my radar in a big way. Staples is now into manufacturing and if we have to ramp up manufacturing in a big way, 3d printing will play a big part. It's off like 50% from those highs, and they have a big commercial customer base.

After doing my budget for the experimental oil sand remediation seeding of draught tolerant food seed I think about one less "D": DD.  DD has a PEG of 1.9 vs. 2.6 for DDD.  IDK what the future will before this next generation production but it looks priced in .  Seed is the future for producing  more and better food: Do you like to eat?  DDD is up 44%: I do not see very well above a PE of 100!!

Wipe me for being a bit soft on growth: I like growth at a reasonable price.  Look at HD for growth with PEG of 1.09( the window ad made me think of that).  We bought some seed from HD this week end for the ranch.  I bought a new corn from HD developed by DD called "QUEEN" that is drought tolerant.  Talking about growth: the new drought resistant Waterman Alfalfa is looking good and so far we have 100% more doe sightings.

Great points. I do believe in your computer model, but I also know this is one hell of an emotional situation. From reading flows thread, we could see 8.6% GDP yet. All that has to happen is that cash on hand goes into the manufacturing chain... But the markets could be too emotional to notice...

Citigroup Inc Delivers 4% Higher Net Income, Surpassing Expectations

Citigroup (NYSE: C ) today announced $4.2 billion in adjusted net income in the first quarter of 2014, an increase of 4% over the $4.0 billion posted in the first quarter of 2013. In total its net income stood flat at $1.23 per share, surpassing analyst expectations of $1.14.

Citigroup saw its adjusted revenues -- which factor out valuation and other adjustments -- drop slightly, from $20.6 billion to $20.1 billion. Its adjusted expenses fell by 1% year over year to $12.2 billion. The biggest benefit Citi recognized was a substantial decline in its net credit losses, which resulted in its cost of credit dropping from $2.5 billion to $2.0 billion, a decrease of 20%.

Even with its lower revenues, as a result of the declining expenses and dramatically reduced cost of credit in total its income from continuing operations before taxes rose 9%, from $5.5 billion to $6.0 billion.

"Despite a quarter that was difficult for our company, we delivered strong results," noted the CEO of Citi, Michael Corbat, in the press release announcing the earnings. "Both our consumer and institutional businesses performed well and we grew both loans and deposits while holding the line on our expenses."

Citigroup has had a difficult start to 2014. It first announced it would have to reduce its 2013 income by $360 million as a result of fraud from its unit in Mexico. Later it was announced Citigroup did not meet the Federal Reserve's expectations in the CCAR process, denying it permission to raise its dividend and share buyback program as a result of qualitative questions.

"Very cognizant of our shareholders' desire to see a sustainable return of capital, we are engaged with the Fed to better understand their expectations regarding the CCAR process," Corbat continued in his statement. "We are committed to bringing our capital planning process to the highest possible standards, befitting an institution of our global reach. I will dedicate whatever resources and make whatever changes necessary to achieve this critical goal."

No, I'm not concerned about the stock movement today, at all. What concerns me is the sheer complacency that has come over this market because people are trying to replicate the past 4 years by LEVERAGING. THAT AND THE OUT OF HAND SITUATION THE EASTERN WORLD HAS BECOME.

Everyone is buying today on news out of the US, ignoring that based on the US alone stocks are in the stratosphere. Again, I can afford to suffer some short term gains to see what happens in this FUBAR situation.

If I had the capital to not be destroyed by fees, I would follow lots of your trades, without a doubt. Ya, I seen that email thing on the bottom of the link I posted. That's what made me think dog and pony. At the same time I think 3d printing has a big future, it's probably going to be with GE though..
