I haven't seen it but I've read a couple reviews which are mixed. Devout Christians are very offended because the movie doesn't even come close to representing the actual story in the bible. So if you lean in the direction of holding the biblical version dear you should probably skip the movie.
If you can separate the movie from the bible and keep in mind it only shares a common character/theme, then you should be fine. I've heard it's pretty neat from a visual effects standpoint. Reviews said it is a decent action/adventure type movie. Not great, but good.

My dad, not a devout Christian at all  , saw it. He said it was okay. That they could have cut some time off of the movie, but overall, not bad. He really liked Captain America though. |

It is a good movie apart from all religious issues.Watch it on this weekend.Emma Watson Plays a good role.

i nver did get to see this movie..It really didnt interest me much cuz i knew it wouldnt be anyhting like the storyn in the bible..I know its hollywood and they take creative license with everything but i think some things should be left untouched..

just saw this movie - no I wouldn't recommend but I tell ya - I had a really good laugh! like watching a stand up comedian laugh at some parts. because one of Noahs sons was just begging Noah to get some ass for himself!! he was just begging his dad to bring a chick on the ark so he could have sex. and when Noah went out to bring back a chick and came back without a girl. OH BOY!  ok laughing now - it's so funny! |

Thanks for the input all. I was just coming here to ASK if I should go to the FREE showing of this movie at my local library next week. While I am NOT religous I suspect I am NOT interested.
Will wait for Blended the following week.
