What is your least favorite chore to perform? And what is your "favorite" chore, meaning the one you mind doing the least? Why?
Do you hate taking out the trash but don't mind cooking? Do you loath doing your taxes but don't mind doing laundry?

I love to cook, but I HATE dishes. DH does them. I think laundry is okay, DH HATES it. I do it. My favorite chore? Writing the check to the housekeeper!

I hate doing the dishes. I swear they multiply in the middle of the night. Then I have to do it all over again the next day. Plus our stupid sink is tiny, I thought everybody in the 1940's cooked from scratch? Our sink is barely big enought of it one pot.
I'd love to have a dishwasher but it'd be more than it's worth to get the house set up to accomdate one. DH and I are talking about ripping out he sink and putting in a more current one.
I don't mind doing the bathroom. I stick a scrubbing bubbles gel in the toilet bowel, press the automatic shower clean button and then wipe down surfaces with Chlorox wipes. Boom, done.

I hate dusting... It kills my allergies. I also don't do trash. Those are pretty much the only things DH is totally in charge of.
Oddly, I don't mind cleaning toilets or cleaning the bathroom sink. I do both just about every 2-3 days.

I don't mind dishes because they get rinsed & put in the dishwasher. I hate having to drag the trash cans back into the garage & I really hate going through the mail.

Laundry is pretty easy for me. Since I live alone, I don't need to bother sorting the clothes. Just toss it in and start it. Doing the bathroom isn't too bad either. Just squirt bathroom cleaner on everything, wipe it down, and that's it.
I don't really care much for dusting or vacuming. They all just seem time consuming and hard work. Cooking is a pain in the ass too. And it's not so much the cooking but everything that goes along with it. You have to grocery shop, bring the food in, put the food away, take the food out, prepare the food, do the dishes, and take out the trash with the food wrapping in it. It's just a neverending cycle.

I don't mind doing laundry, but I don't want anyone else doing laundry, so I guess I like it ok.
I hate doing dishes (with a dishwasher). That used to be kid's chore. Now that they are out of the house, I am stuck with it (well 1/2 of it since DH and I take turns).

I hate, HATE, sweeping my hardwood floors. I honestly don't know why everyone likes hardwoods so much, they are such a PITA!
favorite chore is ironing. something calming about smoothing out the wrinkles.

I like vacuuming (therapeutic), grocery shopping, and loading/unloading the dishwasher. Cooking is OK if I have the day off, but I never feel like doing it when I get home from work (unless it's something really simple). Folding clothes is OK if I can do it in front of the TV, not so much when I go into the bedroom to go to sleep and realize I left a huge pile of unfolded laundry on the bed. I don't like scooping the litterbox, but I prefer it to smelling cat crap. There aren't any chores I really hate. Which is good, since I'm majorly OCD and like to keep the house clean.

I dont' like watering my plants and I don't like putting the clean laundry away. I HATE HATE HATE pulling out appliances to clean underneath them because they are heavy and I have no help. Other than that, I don't mind the rest of it.

Right now, with my limitations, the only thing I cannot do is vacuuming/mopping. The movement unbalances me too much and I stumble, so it is the only thing I don't do around here.
I don't mind doing laundry, but I HATE folding clothes and putting them away. I don't mind cleaning bathrooms, but can't do either the tub or the floor, TD has to do those. I like cooking, grocery shopping and even clearing up after I cook. Only thing I have difficulty with is bringing groceries in, I have to haul them in in stages.
I HATE emptying the dishwasher.

I HATE grocery shopping.
It's not the shopping part, it's the annoying people at the store.

Anywhere at all to keep a portable dishwasher? I'd kill someone before I give mine up. Even if I had to leave it in the middle of the kitchen floor like an island, it's staying.

I don't really mind doing most finite tasks - laundry, dishes, making the bed, cooking, cleaning a bathroom or kitchen - although I do get annoyed when I feel like I am the only one in the house doing them!
I hate vacuuming and dusting, because we have pets that shed enough to make new pets out of every week, so as soon as I vacuum the hardwoods I look around and see little hairballs floating back over it and it Makes. Me. CRAZY! Dust is the same way - I dust and then 15 minutes later I swear I see dust on things. ugh.

Love cooking. Hate cleaning. Is honey BBQ your specialty? LOL. I don't even really like wings ALL that much (once a year, maybe?) and I don't even make them. Like if we go to a bar and someone orders them I'll eat one. Now in college there was a place with 10 cent wings and 1.00 beers. I did some damage (gastronomically) back then, but not really since. I like cooking. I like fresh food. I like how it tastes. I find cooking relaxing after a long day at work. Take a big knife and hack shit into little pieces and then eat it. Very cathartic.

I hate doing laundry - it's a never ending task. I also hate making my bed, but I stopped doing that years ago. I guess my favorite chore would be changing the bedding - because my cats like to hinder, I mean help, with that chore. They are so cute when they 'float' down from layer to layer (getting pets and belly rubs as we go along) as I remove peices (in the winter there's a down comforter, a blanket, maybe another blanket, a top sheet, a fitted sheet) and then they float to the top as each layer is replaced... although things get a little 'lumpy' between the fitted sheet and the top sheet. Sometimes the lumps BITE when you try to smooth them out. ) Then there's the pillows and pillow cases which become a Cat Fort (or igloo) from which the cats can attack the feather on a stick OR dig thru the pillows for the milk ring on a string.
