I'm guessing, wild stab here, that it's different temps for different types of ovens. So fan (convection, or just an elective oven?) is one temp and gas is at a lower temp. Not sure what the 7 means.

I'm American and I live in France. I use US / UK / Fr recipes but my oven is in C. You can just google the conversion. Google "220C into F" and you'll get the answer. ETA: I'm not trying to be unhelpful! I could have given you the answer (I'd have to google it lol), but I wanted you to know that you can google it now and for any recipes in the future.

Yes "Fan" = convection oven. In C recipes, the temps are generally 20° lower for a fan / convection oven.

Thanks for the links and the other info! Just wanted to be sure there wasn't some sort of implied "everybody knows this!" magic that didn't get mentioned in the oven temps from the recipe. I'm not always the brightest when it comes to implied "everybody know this!" kinda knowledge
