Postal service wise (and a few other organizations), yes. Tenn. ìs an older government abbreviation along with being the Associated Press stylebook abbreviation. As the poster wrote Tenn which others here often call me, I thought I would use that style of abbreviation with the period.  |

We were ground zero of the evolution argument a long time ago- lucky for us other state legislators are working to make sure they minimize our little shame.
I really don't get it- evolution is proven- and it is not in conflict with religion- they only get a bug up their ass when it comes to not mentioning creation. And for a small group of people that think the Bible is literal there is just no hope for them- so teach your crazy to your own during Sunday school.
Is it just too crazy for someone pushing intelligent design to accept that evolution could very be easily God's plan if such a God exists? Adaptive learning and behavior- that sounds pretty intelligent to me- kind of explains why one bug eater developed a 12 inch proboscis to go after a bug trying to hide ever deeper- it's a regular arms race and yet 100% natural.
All of the miraculous and unexplainable stuff in nature and yet one group of people in one particular region of the world thinks they have all of the answers based on what some other long dead people wrote- and dismiss with the same zeal all of the other old books in other regions written by other long dead folks that have a similar following. It's freaking insanity. I apply that equally to the hardcore Muslims that treat their women like shit and proclaim their way is the only way as I do to the hardcore Christians in this country that thinks God and Jesus are white men and anyone that disagrees with them will burn in hell.
And not even funny really- both of these hardcore sects have it in for the Jews- not to mention the rest of the world's religions.
As the Rowan Atkinson sketch in hell goes- sorry everyone- but it was the Mormons.

I just think people of any particular religion are intolerant assholes to people with another one and they all think they are right. I think if there is a heaven it is going to kick all of those assholes out for being like that- and who would want to live in a heaven with those kinds of people- what a nightmare! BTW I have not used drugs/ gotten high in around 20 years- with the exception of one Rush concert and it wasn't mine Also the bubble has been burst a long time ago with the avatar- Frank Zappa/Joe's Garage. I did not say one thing about a religion. I am talking about how furious you get over politics. It is one ignoramus trying to get a women's magazine treated like it is porn. Since you brought up religion, I will say something about it. I see people all over this board labeling people as foolish for having religious beliefs about a deity. Yet, those same critics worship a political party made up of corrupt individuals with corrupt personal agendas. If I have to pick which one is more foolish, it is definitely going to be the latter.

I do not worship anything- and I do get angry over politics- but I am not going to argue with my family or friends hence this is an outlet of frustration maybe.
As far as religion- I absolutely state that any religion that claims to know what happens after you die is full of shit. So far that's most of them. Religion exists because of unanswered questions- and the more the scientists figure out and explain the more hostile they get.
I am not sure what I believe- I really want the idea of Karma to be part of it- but it might just be as likely that the assholes that run this world will die in charge and that's the end of it- of course the winner cannot take it with them- but they can get out of life scot free.

Trust me on this one, I have yet to see one jerk in my life get out of it scot free. Every single one of them has paid one way or another before they have died. Some of it is very sad to watch. I just walk away from it, and let it go.

Yes very true- God's worldly 'representatives' and/or 'spokesmen' are the real problem. And none of them could agree on what to eat for lunch- could probably agree on a few groups of people worth oppressing though.....
