On the current Doxie thread someone pointed out some contradictory positions and posited there must be a word for that. Archie came to the rescue with "impossaurius", which I hope he comes over here and defines.
What words - or combinations of words - should be added to the English language to properly describe YM situations?
At our house, we have several that relate to our family.
Confisticate - a more severe form of confiscating something. Not only are you going to take it away, you're going to hold on to it tightly in your fist or keep it for a while.
Complanerary - combination of complaining and ornery.
Please share your creations here.

I honestly think that "per say" should be added to the YM dictionary because I've seen it posted here about a hundred times. ETA: I like it better than the regular way!

Intaxication: When you're giddy about getting your refund. Until you're reminded it was your money to begin with.
Ignoranus: Someone who is both stupid and an asshole.

People forget it was their money that the government kept without paying you interest. That's why I like to be close to $0 or pay a little.

This isn't a YM-specific word, but one of my favorites is "Askhole" - someone who constantly asks advice and then ignores it (or does the opposite). I can think of a few...

I was trying very hard while helping some young friends with their taxes, to make clear to them that their refunds were simply their own money having been overpaid by them all year long. I can't believe how hard a concept to understand that is!

I was trying very hard while helping some young friends with their taxes, to make clear to them that their refunds were simply their own money having been overpaid by them all year long. I can't believe how hard a concept to understand that is! My mom came over this weekend and was grousing about her refund not being very big because she's no longer HOH and doesn't have any dependents. She asked how my taxes went. I told her I owed the feds $100 more than I got back from the state... she said "How can you owe?" (Upon further discussion, this was not "Why would you plan to not get a refund?" but actually "How is it possible to owe taxes?") Oh Mom...

I propose use of the term "governpayer" to replace government when ever a "government" funded activity is referred to. We all know that taxpayers really fund those activites, so to imply that "the government" supplies the subsidies misrepresents who really foots the bill. For example, the state insurance exchange is promoting the "government" subsidies offered through the exchange. As if the funds magically appear in "government" coffers. Hey, hey! I'm me, the governpayer, who provides those funds.
