Why would you want to give up sugar and sweets? Everything in moderation Because sugar is poison. Just suck it up like someone said earlier. In a couple of weeks you won't even miss it. Sugar isn't poison. It's just another food to be eaten in moderation.

This is the second day I made it through without soda and sweets. Yesterday I had a headache all day but that could have been due to a stressful day.

I am a HUGE sweets addict. HUGE!!
I can't remember how it started, but there was a time when I didn't eat any and after awhile I really wasn't craving it. But it happened spontaneously. If I try to "do it", I won't last a minute. I have no self control

I didn't think I would make it this long and almost caved a few times but haven't yet.

Sugar is tough for me to control as well, one cookie might as well be 3 or 4.

I eat until I am sick sometimes. I am surprised that I haven't had any cravings and I also don't feel hungry all the time like I did before.

I like the 90% rule for clean eating. Another one I like: Using the "if it fits your macros" principle for cheats (IIFYM). iifym.com/what-is-iifym/ and www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/817188-iifymBasically, if you want to have a piece of cake, you make sure that dinner consists of lean protein and a fibrous veggie ONLY, to compensate for the the saturated fat and simple carbs of the cake. It makes eating your favourite 'bad foods' possible, and minimizes the hit to your overall diet.
