Very, very worst half-time show? Have you missed a bunch of them?
I think this "pop-star" half-time thing is stupid, but at least Bruno is talented and relevant. The 50-year old HCP's did a good job, but I'm not sure why we want to watch a band from so long ago sing a song from ancient history.

Bring back the marching bands. I think it would be great to see one HS Marching band get picked to do the Super Bowl. Celebs are in our faces all the time. Give someone else a chance.

Shooby - I also think marching bands are the way to go. But make them really, really good. Like a professional drum & bugle corp, or something really high quality.

I thought Bruno did a great job (I'm not a fan). As for RHCP, it was cool to hear their old song and for old guys, they rocked it.

I don't think it was the worst, but I'm not with everyone else saying it was amazing. I think the "mash-up" with RHCP sucked...not even sure why Bruno & his group were still on the stage since they didn't do anything and were just in the way - but I don't think RHCP fit with Bruno unless they would have done a good mash up. And I don't think he closed it well, poor ending choice of song - but the fireworks were pretty cool.

Well, I missed the first 2 minutes and had to go online to see how the safety happened. I watched maybe 5 minutes after that and didn't see anymore. Not a fan of either team but I can usually watch the SB regardless. I think there is so much hype leading up to the game that the game itself is almost anti clamitic. That is unless the Raiders are in it  Happy for Hawks fans and sad for Bronco fans. |
