We have about twelve inches down on the ground, plus frozen rain which soaked into the snow, and plenty of ice. This morning when I let our 14-lb white miniature poodle out to do her jobs, she got up on the bank of snow on the deck and walked around, sniffing happily. She was quite proud of herself, and enjoyed looking for just the right "spot" atop the snowbank. She didn't sink in at all.  |
