The Le Creuset dutch oven is terrific! I made a full triple amount of my original recipe and still had a little room to spare. I will admit getting it into the oven was a little difficult due to the total weight, but it's now in there to simmer for a few hours. Unfortunately I don't have any freezer containers due to our move into the new house, and with the snow likely won't make it to WMT until Tuesday. It will be nice to have all the extra tucked away in the freezer.
I'm going to make the corn bread recipe in the LC cookbook, including the honey cinnamon butter to go along with it.
Considering I don't cook much, this has been a fun day. I guess it helps to have about 5" of fresh snow on the ground today....rather gets me in the mood for staying warm in the kitchen.

We love love love our Le Creuset dutch oven; I can make a week's worth of chili/soup for work lunches easily. And yes, it's heavy! Enjoy the chili, BG.
