A few months ago I asked about calendar/to-do software for home use and someone (I'm so sorry--I don't remember who?) recommended Cozi which has been awesome! It does pull into Outlook, although I just created another persona in Cozi 'work-raeoflyte' and put my appointments that could affect the family in that.
Now I'm asking for recommendations for software for more of a work purpose. I currently keep a notebook that I list to-do's, phone calls, and anything else that passes by my desk that I might need again. It's a PITA and I really need a better system that I can use to make sure I'm keeping up on current pipelines, leads, and marketing.
My boss uses ACT and I could get a free version from him but it isn't on the cloud. Another coworker uses Oprius, so I'm focusing on those 2 right now. I like that I can get Oprius on a monthly basis and really make sure I like it before I shell out big bucks. I can do a free trial on ACT for 30 days though too.
Does anyone here use either of these or another system and have any recommendations? FWIW I am looking more for tracking and to-do list making. Our company has to approve all marketing emails/flyers and such so I wouldn't be using this system for those features (although if there was something really awesome then I could take that template and give it to our marketing group).

We all just use Outlook, so I can't speak to anything more sophisticated than that.

We all just use Outlook, so I can't speak to anything more sophisticated than that. Do you use the task feature? It seems like it all just leads to a blackhole, but I'm sure its more user error. If I could get outlook to work I would love it, because that's free!

If I could get outlook to work I would love it, because that's free! I use the tasks, follow-up reminders, flags, and the calendar. It works for my purposes, but I'm not doing any serious long-term or multiple-level projects.

I use Priority Matrix on my iPad. It's actually free right now for the basic version. You can upgrade it to link between multiple computers and upgrade further for multiple users. My biggest thing I was going for was the ability to separate a single list into quadrants. At work, I have importance on one axis and urgency on another. At home, I just separate it into sublists - house, gardens, money, and big projects.

Rae - we use macs at work and I am all apple at home so I use Evernote. I also use an app called Todoist. Both are great for list making which I am kind of obsessed with.
