Went back to the store today to buy their latest cookbook.....I walked out $515 dollars later with: Purple 10.5 frying pan, turquoise braiser & lid, lime green square grill and panini press. 1 large square silicone hot plate protector so the pieces won't slide around on the granite counters, a new oven thermo (digital and the fault of DH), a pair of slide over the helper hand or whatever they call it, a frying pan silicone handle cover, 2 silicone spatula/spoons, and last but not least, a new cookbook with some amazing recipes in it. It also has a section that explains each piece of cookware and recipes to go along with each piece.

DH was with me, he helped. I did forget to add, this new purchase means the Geo. Forman grill is leaving the building, I'm going to go thru my french white corning ware again and get rid of some of it, the Paula Deen cookware DH bought because he thought my All Clad was too old (go figure) is going to also leave the building.

My DH LOVES "his" Le Creuset Skinny Grill. "We" use it almost every day . I too have ditched a number of things in favor of the Le Creuset. Good stuff!

Kitten - what is the Skinny Grill and what do you use it for? I've never heard of it and don't know what I'd use it for.

I've still got Corning pieces from when I got married (centuries ago). It still looks/bakes like new - I wouldn't ditch any of it for the world.
But Congrats on your LeCeuset purchases. Enjoy them.

Don't get me wrong, I still love my Corningware, but since the major downsizing of our house, I believe almost everything in it needs to have a dual purpose. Le Crueset grill pan means the bulky George Forman grill has to go. I don't need the 2 crockpots, I can use a piece of LC to achieve the same purpose.
However, I do have some very similar pieces of Corning, so some just needs to go.

Soon To Be: Just a suggestion on the cabinets in your motorhome - when we had a trailer, and then a truck & camper, I used to put 1/2" thick rubber bands around the handles on the cabinets (the knobs usually were near enough to each other to stretch the bands around the knobs to hold the cupboards shut.
You could also put on those child-proof cabinet locks - that would also prevent them from flying open while you're in motion. They don't cost a lot, but would save you from all the stuff flying out of your cupboards and breaking.
