As I sit here in my office tired of the cold and now, about the only thing getting me through each day is knowing that in 30 days I will be spending a whole week at DWD.
Anyone else have plans to visit the mouse this year?

Ah, the mouse!
I might be heading down right after President's Day for a quick few nights with my mom.
I was planning on running the Princess Half Marathon, but my DH would like me to defer until next year since I am pregnant (though perfectly capable of running. Ugh, men).
If we go, obviously the big rides are out for me, so we plan on eating, seeing the shows, walking around, and finally checking out some of the other resorts that we never seem to make it to.

That's the same time I will be there Steff. I knew nothing about the Princess marathon, or how big a deal it was, but we will be able to watch everyone run around if we want. I wonder if I offered the runners vodka instead of water if anyone would get mad at me?

You better hope it warms up! I'm freezing my toes off here right now!
I'll go a couple times this year, however many times my CM friend will get me in.

It seven degrees here this morning, even 40 will seem like a heat wave. I suspect it will be shorts weather for us northerners by mid-February. Hell, I'll just be happy to have a couple hours of sunshine, it's always gray here in the winter.

Actually I know that a lot of runners stop in Epcot for a beer the last mile of the full marathon in January, so vodka might be welcome, as long as they know it is not water!
I had a dream last night that my mom and I went and we had Magic Bands and that they were awesome!

My boss is going at the end of the month - he also just came back from trips in October and December. He and his partner have annual passes. Their oldest child turns 3 this spring, upon which they will have to start paying for her. So they are taking one last trip, then none for a few years. I may go next year when my nieces are a bit older (4 & 6 right now.)

My magic bands arrive today. They will be awesome. Just my wife and I go on these trips, my two teenage boys hate the place (always have), so we eat, drink, and stumble around the parks laughing at all the stressed out parents. It truly becomes the happiest place on earth for us. I didn't go last year, so I'm really ready this time.

I never understood why people bring really small kids to the parks, they seem to add to everyone's stress level, and most of the kids have no idea where they are. I had annual passes once, they were great. We went six times in one year, and we live in Michigan. I decided I won't do that again until I'm retired and can spend more time down south.

Though, in a few weeks I think everyone is getting the reduced fast passes. Just beware of that if you were thinking of park hoppers!
