a sample of what DI is describing would look similar to this - minus all *. the important thing you have to remember is that wherever you have a switch start, you also have to have an end (a / ) [*table] begins the table[*tr] begins the row after this comes the data. each field starts with [*td] then the data you want there, followed with [*/td][*td]Column Header 1[*/td][*td]Column Header 2[*/td][*td]Column Header 3[*/td][*td]Column Header 4[*/td][*/tr] ends the row[*tr] starts new row[*td]data row 1, col 1[*/td][*td]data row 1, col 2[*/td][*td]data row 1, col 3[*/td][*td]data row 1, col 4[*/td][*/tr] ends the row[*tr] begins the row [*td]data row 2, col 1[*/td][*td]data row 2, col 2[*/td][*td]data row 2, col 3[*/td][*td]data row 2, col 4[*/td][*/tr] ends the row[/table] ends the tablewhen you remove the *, it looks like this.. You merely add rows ([*tr]) and data ([*td] ) to meet your needs. Column Header 1 | Column Header 2 | Column Header 3 | Column Header 4 | data row 1, col 1 | data row 1, col 2 | data row 1, col 3 | data row 1, col 4 | data row 2, col 1 | data row 2, col 2 | data row 2, col 3 | data row 2, col 4 |

Geez - now I have to learn a new language - "Geek Speak"- and be able to understand it.

Is there anyway you could link this to something not in this format? For example, could you link an actual excel spreadsheet that has these commands in it so we can see what it would look like?

turbo, you mean something like in post 2 of this thread, only in a spreadsheet?
i don't know if it can be done or not... Disenfranchised Investor did a table in the how-to section with all the codes, but unfortunately, a lot of the formatting (like glowing text) doesn't work in the table. we *could* probably do a post that shows a lot of it... is that what you mean?

Turbothumper Someone DID exactly that... In a post entitled 5-15-50 moving averages in the Smart Investing thread on the Your Money forum you'll find a post written by lovetobike who inserted a spreadsheet FILE with all the codes already included. I've copied that file onto my computer with the intention of turning it in to a template for use with my WIRR and (future) WIRS charts. This coming weekend, G-d willing.

writter88, I am not finding that. Sigh, maybe I am just not meant to figure this out. I am definitely NOT a techie person.

Perhaps it's due to my misuse of terminology? Turbo - I meant to say 5-10-15 thread in the smart investing forum on the Your Money board. Does that help?
