Well, I can't say that I crocheted it all, but I did crochet the eyes! Of course, when it was time to stitch them on, we found the munchkin had ran off with the pattern, so they didn't go on quite right, but my brother (HUGE TMNT fan when he was little) loves it. What he doesn't know is that I'm hoping to make a larger one to give him so he and my niece can having matching hats. I found the pattern on Pinterest here: Ninja Turtle Hat I even made sure it was orange, Michelangelo was my brother's favorite turtle. COWABUNGA!! She's a cutie, I wish I could post the whole photo! This is a photo of the back from the website:

Love it - looks like a pretty simple pattern. I could probably whip that up in a day.

Looks cute Apple! I'm trying to get my MIL to teach me to crochet, but she's not the best teacher. It looks like it's Youtube for me to learn! Also, my MIL only knows how to match afghans and I'd really rather not make afghans all the time. Keep in mind, my DD does love hers that my MIL gave her for Christmas. She got one for herself and 1 for her baby doll. My MIL has since made her another one for another baby doll.

My mom goes a little too fast for me to learn from, so I had her show me how to start a chain, and then I tried to look at books, or have her show me just one stitch at a time. I learned "the magic circle" off of youtube, but had to use a couple videos to get it down. I'm a very visual/hands on learner. I originally wanted to learn so I could do afghans, but I want to make hats, and scarves, and maybe gloves too. So far, I've made dish rags and ninja turtle eyes
