The woman caught the H1N1 virus in China - and it's unlikely that anyone coming in contact with her will be infected. I live in this province - and this isolated case does not have medical professionals alarmed. People are becoming sick here more from the seasonal "flu" that's been floating around. This is a very rare isolated incident.

The virus rarely passes person to person, but health officials said they were tracking down everyone who came into contact with the traveler to be sure.

“This is a very rare and isolated case,” said Dr. James Talbot, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health. “Avian influenza is not easily transmitted from person to person. It is not the same virus that is currently present in seasonal influenza in Alberta.”

Bad stuff Tyson is right (Neil Degrasse)- Nature is not so hospitable and is out to kill you.
