Are you serious? That's 4 losers- and the worst of it is that Bush would have the best shot IMO. Maybe if the democrats run a shoe...

Paul might have a shot because he could pull a lot of independents. Too bad they would never give him the nomination.

Bleh...Huckabee would be a bad choice. You are right, that can't last. Why does the republican field seem to be a bunch of losers again? This might be like last time around where every month we have a new frontrunner & all of them suck.

By the nature of what they believe (or have to purport to believe), GOP presidential candidates suck. Same principle.

I care when they feel the need to spew out their beliefs everywhere & start using those beliefs to dictate what laws they would like to see. Christie & Paul don't seem to do this too much & could potentially get my vote. But that is why I can't stand Huckabee (as a presidential candidate, as a person he seems fairly likeable) or most of the candidates from 2012.

he is indeed likeable. he is sincere. he is also dogmatic and pretty ill informed. but it makes him very entertaining. he is like Santorum. he has that "aw shucks"-ness about him. but fundamentally he is...well, fundamental, i guess?

latest poll: Christie is now LAST among those surveyed in head to head matchups with Clinton: www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/president/Ryan is now the front runner. he will probably stay the front runner. he has a lot going for him. edit: i am shocked by this. Christie was +13% over Ryan in December, now he is 13% behind Ryan in the head to head matchup. unreal.

They could very well choose a dark horse candidate. It worked well for the dems in 1976, and again in 2008. A relatively unknown candidate will have a better chance than an already hated candidate.

the investigation is now focused on the coverup, and the clues seem to lead to the Port Authority Police.
