www.reviewjournal.com/news/tactical-fast-draw-could-bring-gunfights-bar-near-you They will be standing at opposite ends of a 30-by-8-foot steel cage — fully enclosed, UFC-style — in the middle of what used to be a couple of stage-side tabletops at Whiskey Dick’s, 2750 E. Craig Road. That’s where a new sport, known to its North Las Vegas-based creators as tactical fast draw, is set to make its Jan. 31 debut. “You’ll get two points for a head shot and one point for anything to the (body) vest,” fast draw inventor and former bounty hunter Nephi Oliva said. “You can score a maximum of 12 points, but there’s no time limit, so it’s almost like a boxing match with bullets To Oliva, the sport isn’t a barroom gimmick or a claustrophobic take on indoor paintball. It is a complete entertainment experience, a gender-neutral mix between mixed martial arts and video gaming, featuring disc jockeys, ring announcers, nicknamed gunfighters and just about everything else short of a fog machine. Only in America.

There have been gun fighter games in bars for years. It's just at a human form target.
I was an early adopter of lazer tag. It was great until the family got so into it they almost wrecked all of the furniture. I kept the guns hidden for years then donated them.
I don't agree with giving kids nerf guns either.

True- and if it is anything like some of the other 'feats of strength' it will be a mess. I remember the boxing rings some had- you get huge gloves, headgear and 3 one minute rounds to make an ass of yourself- great entertainment- sloppy people. But this is freaky- this is pretty much a duel with modified Glocks- don't really see the fun in it unless they get to move around and take cover. But I get it kind of- I liked laser tag- I really like paintball- but not so sure about the bar setting. But American it is- when I was a kid we had fights with dirt clods, rocks, bb guns, bottle rockets, roman candles, etc. We were dumb as hell Could have put an eye out.

Sounds like part of the test for NIPIS (shared swat team from Chicago's surrounding suburbs) I scored in the top 10% for the whole test. When you play racqetball with the chief of police, you get to do all kinds of fun things.

Yeah- I'm gonna have to go with alcohol and projectiles don't mix. Famous last words- hold my beer and watch this...
