Their natural talent stood out like a beacon in the night, when Rock and Roll was young, and Dick Clark kept trying to feed us Fabian, Frankie Avalon, Annette, Bobby Rydell, as well as others trying to cash in, including Ricky Nelson, whose stage presence ran the gauntlet from flat to almost asleep.;
