www.nbcnews.com/business/slightly-haunted-pennsylvania-home-sale-unfrightening-140-000-2D11775880 Here is what the prospective buyer will get for his money besides the four walls and roof: The sounds of phantom footsteps, a strange knocking, a "hardly noticeable" scream at 3:13 a.m. (once a week), and "the occasional ghastly visage lurking behind you in the bathroom mirror." That little extra occurs rarely and only in an upstairs bathroom, according to the listing. Shit no! Well, probably no such thing as ghosts but why take the risk. Interesting sales gimmick.

*chuckle* If I were interested in a home in that area, and this one met my requirements, the "hauntings" wouldn't bother me a bit. My cats cause enough "strange noises" and "unusual happenings" we probably wouldn't even notice a few more.

but then again as said Hellz! NO why take the chance! but then again my cats are the same! the three of us was on the couch watching TV WHEN!! WE heard a noise coming from the bedroom! I know the cats heard it because all three of us looked towards the bedroom at the same time! so I was looking at them like go ahead and check it out! you're suppose to be curious? they put their head back down and went to sleep!

Whether it is haunted or not it would be a pain. The upkeep would be a constant chore. The weird noises could keep anybody from resting. Pass. Could I interest you in the house where the Borden's lived?

These houses are just too old for my liking (including the Borden home). Now, if they were completely renovated and modernized, that might be a different story. Who died there, or didn't die there, or how who died there died there doesn't much interest me.

I think the house is "book story" cute. I could probably be very happy there. The creaking and moans/ noises are probably structural.
With a bit of bracing of the foundation and staircase (and indoor modernizing.decorating - appliances, granite, hardwood, etc - though that doesn't look the case - it's already in the 21st century if pictures don't lie) it could be a very cute little home. I kinda like it.

I hope my house is haunted and I'm just too oblivious to see it. We've had several elderly people own this house, so who knows. They might be sitting on the chair with me right now.

I like places with "history". I'd probably be happy in an older home that had some unexplained creaks, and noises.
I like things that go "bump in the night".

The 3:13 scream gives it character I don't believe in ghosts- though I would love to see one. It would be proof there is more to come after death. I have friends that claim to have seen them, actually had a neighbor down the road move out because of a 'haunting'- but like the Amityville case the real story was financial.

I like things that go "bump in the night". If you have not already done so, watch the movie Sinister .
