Rules:

Will go out on a limb and pick NLY (Long) for this week. While do not believe NLY will run fast, think it should hold up well if we manage to have a positive week. Perhaps the Santa rally may start some day in the week. (I hope).

From the earnings beat MRQ with recent upward estimate revisions screen. I haven't used this stock for POTW yet but I did buy some shares on 10/31/2013 @ $24.23. |

I should stick with APPL again this week, but will pick Red Hat Inc. this week.
The yearly chart is bad, down 6.8% for the year in a really up market. They report Thursday, and should either pop or drop.
Red Hat Inc. RHT, let's go long.
(So anyone wanting a long shot, probably short this puppy this week Based on my choice!) |

Thank you! Just glad RHT popped rather than dropped this week! We saw a lot of volitility in some of our picks this week. Makes me concerned about how the markets will act next week
Maybe it had more to do with the resetting of some of the Dow stocks and their weight in the index. Nasdaq did some tweaking today also. |
