I'd seen these and thought my DD and DDL might like them. I might just give them as fairy light jars, rather than wrapping them. That's a great idea!  |

Thanks, Sugi. I like the canisters, and I think the girls will like them. We don't give Christmas gifts, but both girls have their birthdays in January and I think these would be lovely all year round - or, they could take the lights out and use them as canisters, if they prefer. I've ordered the canisters and will pick up the lights on Monday.  |

I got my canisters. They really are pretty. I think they might make nice night lights in the kitchen if the little lights are left in. Otherwise, they're a nice size for use as canisters. I'm going to try wrapping the wiring on the lights in reflective tape to see if I can sorta make it disappear. Experimentation (and a craft store trip) is in order.  |
