The place I work is getting lots of new machinery - I just happened to be walking by as they were about to throw away a bunch of bubble wrap and foam sheets (for packing). I now have two huge FREE to me bags of packing material sitting in my office. I will use it in my ebay business - it's got to be at least $50 worth of packing materials. Yeah me! - Of course everybody at work just thinks I'm weird for grabbing it up. LOL.
Feel free to comment on my luck/weirdness and/or share your own stories of silly little things that made/make you happy.

No, we don't walk away. But when we're holding on to something precious, we run.

I should find out today when I can pick up my new (old) Pilates reformer. My physical therapy place has a reformer that is gathering dust. Sadly, not a single PT has bothered getting training on how to use it and since a lot of my PT previously was done on it, I know how much help it can be for rehab. So right now, I'm the only one using it and only because my other PT was an instructor and used it for her patients.
It's an older model, made of wood but a comparable new model would probably run close to $3-4K. The straps need to be changed out, but that's minor.

I got a $ 30 gift card ( Amex ) and a $ 25 gift card for PF Changs for redeeming points on a credit card that I didn't even know that I had accumulated. DD is getting the gift card for Christmas, and one of these nights, DH & I will go to PF Changs.

I fit into some old jeans. yeah, it creates a muffin top and camel toe, because it's so tight. but I fit into it, and no one sees me wearing it because I'm home all day. Unless you count my infant, and all that one cares about are my boobs!!!

Oh, I pop bubble wrap too. I was just thinking about the IT guy that I used to work with. He would clip his nails EVERY single day, and yes, it drove the co-workers around him batty.

"He would clip his nails EVERY single day,"
Why do guys do this at work?? It is disgusting!!! I cringe when i hear the click click sound. And it is not an isolated incident either. So many guys do it. Maybe i should start painting my nails, shaving my legs, plucking my eye brows at work!!!
