What to get.....
Spinach, broccoli, cheese, seafood casserole.
Large casserole dish 2 (frozen packages) chopped broccoli 2 frozen packages chopped spinach 1 lb (or 1/2 lb) pre cooked shrimp (peeled and cooked) 1 lb Scallops Add clams or mussels or calamari if you like Block of velveeta cheese Ritz crackers
After thawing the spinach and broccoli, evenly through out the dish. Season the seafood what ever way you like. I use cajun spices.
Take the velveeta cheese and make cubes. It melts the best and is the best cheese to use. DO not use cheddar etc. Tends to clump.
Then, take the Ritz crackers and make them bread crumbs. Big zip lock bags are the best.
Then take the bread crumbs and put over the top of the dish. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

That sounds pretty good even though Velveeta cheese freaks me out a little.

"Velveeta"... ?
O- ...kay.
Ive seen a similar recipe in which the "Velveeta" was exchanged for a blend of grated cheddar and creamcheese/neufchatel.

That sounds pretty good even though Velveeta cheese freaks me out a little. My sister calls it plastic cheese, but she's uppity like that I can't comment on the rest since my seafood allergy makes me think it'd suck. Guess I could use ham or chicken. <<looks again>>

Velveeta is plastic cheese. I don't mind the taste, but texture wise it's just kind of wrong.

That's what I call it too. Processed cheese slices are what I call plastic cheese - Velveta is what I refer to as liquid plastic cheese .
And I cant imagine wanting to ruin good seafood (shrimp, clams & mussels) with that chemical concoction from a jar.

Velveeta "cheese" and seafood?!?!? I can't even imagine a world where this would be right.
